Position Title: Manager
Reports To: MULTI UNIT MANAGER
Position Summary:
Performs and directs overall store management. Responsible for inventory and money control systems. Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Recruits staff and oversees training program. May contact prospective customers to promote sales – may establish inventory schedules. Responsible for local marketing initiatives. Maintains business records. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Completes and posts the staff work schedules.
- Maintains business records as outlined in the Operations Manual. Analyzes business records to increase sales.
- Communicates changes of food preparations formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
- Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
- Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
- Recruits, rewards and terminates staff as needed.
- Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
- Plans special events and promotions
Pre-requisites:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in QSR environment, experience in supervising and training staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally. Must have the ability to work a minimum of 50 to 60 hours a week.
Position Title: Assistant Manager
Reports To: Manager/Owner
Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager supervises daily operations to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Schedules and supervises staff. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Tasks And Responsibilities:
- Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a shift manager as outlined in shift manager job description.
- Manages a staff of approximately 4 to 12. Assigns, oversees and evaluates work. Recommends promotion, transfer, or termination of employees. May conduct written and verbal staff evaluations.
- Coordinates and supervises staff so that standards of cleanliness are maintained as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- As needed, supervises food preparation to ensure that food safety and operations standards are maintained.
- Performs paperwork duties as needed.
- Assists with planning of special events and promotions.
Pre-requisites:
- Education: High school graduate
- Experience: Experience in QSR operations, preferably with supervisory experience. Requires excellent communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of employees. computer knowledge is desirable.

Position Summary:
The shift manager supervises the operations of a shift to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness, and inventory control standards are maintained. This may include scheduling and supervising staff. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Tasks And Responsibilities:
- Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Sandwich Artist® as outlined in Sandwich Artist® job description
- Trains newer or less experienced Sandwich Artists® in their tasks and responsibilities.
- Practices inventory control standards as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Inspects equipment and storage facilities throughout a shift to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
- Schedules and supervises staff as needed.
- Performs paperwork duties as needed.
Pre-requisites:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience in QSR-style service, communications and organizational skills.
- Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Position Title: Senior Sandwich Artist®
Reports To: SHIFT MANAGER/ASSISTANT MANAGER/MANAGER/MULTI UNIT MANAGER
Position Summary:
The Senior Sandwich Artist® performs a variety of duties relating to Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) – style service including greets and serves guests, product preparation, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and light paperwork. Trains newer Sandwich Artists® in all tasks and responsibilities. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Sandwich Artist® as outlined in Sandwich Artist® job description
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Trains newer or less experienced Sandwich Artists® in their tasks and responsibilities.
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
Pre-requisites:
- Education: Some high school or equivalent
- Experience: Experience in QSR environment. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
- Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Prepares food neatly, accurately, and in a timely way.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains it to guests accurately. Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner when dealing with guests.
- Checks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Cleans as directed.
- Greets guests and prepares their orders, uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and computes the amount of the bill, collects payment from guests and makes change.
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Accounts for all forms of money, bread, etc. during the shift
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards while preparing food, serving food, and clean up.
- Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
